Overview
The government of Bahrain announced the creation of an entry visa and platinum residence permit for foreign national residents who have legally resided in Bahrain for at least 15 years. Eligible applicants must also:
- Hold proof of good conduct that proves they have not been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor; and
- Over the last five years maintained an average basic salary of HBD 4,000 or more in Bahrain.
Under the platinum residency status, foreign nationals can purchase property in the Kingdom of Bahrain and participate in select investment projects there.
