China: Visa-Free Travel with Singapore and Brunei

  • China resumed 15-day visa-free travel for tourism and business purposes for citizens of Singapore and Brunei on 26 July 2023 


The government of China will resume visa-free travel with Singapore and Brunei effective 26 July 2023. Under these measures, eligible citizens of Singapore and Brunei holding ordinary passports will be permitted to travel to China, visa-free, for business, family visits, transit and tourism purposes for a maximum period of 15 days.  

Any currently pending visa will continue to be processed; however, new applications do not need to be submitted after 26 July 2023 if the stay of the trip will not extend past 15 days.  

What are the Changes?  

The government of China resumed visa-free travel with Singapore and Brunei on 26 July 2023. According to the government announcement, these measures will promote tourism and travel between collaborating countries.
