18 Feb. 2022 Update: The government of Singapore will no longer require eligible foreign nationals entering the country from Malaysia to enter via a Vaccinated Travel Lane. Instead, eligible travelers will be required to present a Long-Term Pass and proof of vaccination. These new requirements will apply to the following Long-Term Pass Holders:
- Residence Pass Talent (RP-t) and their dependents;
- Professional Visit Pass (PVP) holders;
- Long-term Social Visit Pass (LT-SVP).

1 Dec. 2021 Update: The governments of Singapore and Malaysia will require travelers arriving from Malaysia via a Vaccinated Travel Lane to undergo additional on-arrival testing. This will include undertaking an antigen rapid test (ART) upon arrival in Singapore.
11 Nov. 2021 Update: The governments of Singapore and Malaysia released new updates for travelers using the Vaccinated Travel Lane to and from Malaysia. Under this announcement, travelers have the following requirements:
- Remain in Singapore or Malaysia for a minimum of 14 days prior to entering Malaysia or Singapore;
- Are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, with either a single dose vaccine or a two-dose vaccine at least 14 days prior to travel;
- Produce a valid digital vaccination certificate issued by Singapore or a physical or digital copy of a vaccination certificate from an approved country;
- Undergo a RT-PCR test a maximum of two days prior to departure to Malaysia;
- Undergo an additional RT-PCR test upon arrival in Malaysia; and
- Download and register on the MySejahtera App
Travelers must also be able to provide evidence of a return ticket and hold travel insurance with a minimum coverage of RM10,000. For additional information click here.

Overview
The government of Singapore announced a new Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) between Malaysia and Singapore beginning Nov. 29, 2021. This lane will open between Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Singapore’s Changi Airport. VTLs will also soon extend to Finland and Sweden.
Currently, travelers transiting to Singapore via other VTLs are required to present a valid negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 48 hours prior to departure to Singapore and undergo an additional PCR test after arriving in Singapore. However, additional information regarding eligibility and requirements are expected to be announced by the government of Singapore.
What are the Changes?
The opening of this VTL will allow fully vaccinated travelers to travel between Malaysia and Singapore without quarantine. Separate VTLs will also be opened from Finland to Singapore and Sweden to Singapore.
