The government of Ireland will require all Bolivian nationals to obtain a visa prior to traveling to Ireland beginning 12 September 2023. In addition, the government will require Bolivian nationals to acquire a transit visa when transiting through Ireland to another destination.  

What are the Changes?  

The government of Ireland will require Bolivian nationals to obtain a visa or transit visa when entering the country, effective 12 September 2023. According to the government, these measures aim to align Irish visa policy with Schengen area visa policies, which require Bolivian nationals to obtain a visa prior to entry.
