Overview  

The government of Kuwait temporarily suspended the issuance of select visit visa categories on 26 June 2022. The suspension will apply to entry visit visas and family member or tourist visas. Previously issued visa types under these categories will remain valid and holders will still be permitted to enter the country.   

What are the Changes?  

On 26 June 2022, the government of Kuwait suspended the issuance of entry visit visas, tourism and family visas. The government stated that the suspension is in preparation of a new system for those interested in working in Kuwait.
