The New NAFTA: How The USMCA Affects The TN Visa
Click here to download the slide deck.
Call it NAFTA 2.0. The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), which has been agreed on but still needs ratification from all three countries, covers many of the same provisions as its predecessor, the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). This includes the TN visa, which was originally the subject of uncertainty during deal negotiations last year.
Once ratified, the USCMA will replace NAFTA, making right now the perfect time to learn more about the new trade deal and what it means for employment-based immigration in the region.
