Green Card Trends & Considerations for Employers in 2021
Green cards continue to play an important role in foreign talent acquisition and retention for employers. Recent findings from Envoy’s 2021 Immigration Trends Report show that 74% of employers have sponsored a foreign national employee for permanent residence before, and 81% of those who sponsor start the process before the employee’s first H-1B renewal. Foreign nationals are also eager for the peace of mind and security associated with long-term sponsorship as a result of the uncertain political and economic climate through 2020.
