Envoy Conversations: The Future of International Student and Intern Mobility
The outbreak of COVID-19 has upended travel and mobility, and the education sector is no exception. Efforts to combat the virus have shuttered universities worldwide, with many still unable to open for in-person instruction for the Fall 2020 semester. This, along with immigration restrictions put in place that target international students, interns and trainees, have left many foreign nationals with an uncertain future in the U.S. These conditions could have a reverberating impact on the foreign talent pipeline and the broader U.S. workforce for years to come.
