Countries around the world are changing the way they approach immigration. Berlin recently created a special new “immigration authority” that seeks to streamline efforts to attract skilled talent to the city. Elsewhere, Canada is becoming a major hub for businesses seeking to expand overseas, thanks in part to a friendly immigration system. While these countries may have more open immigration policies, other countries are implementing more exclusionary programs.
