USCIS Will Resume Premium Processing For Remaining Cap Subject Petitions on June 10

Last Updated on February 23, 2023

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced it will resume premium processing for all remaining FY 2020 H-1B visa petitions.

On June 10, 2019, petitioners will be able to file Form I-907 Request for Premium Processing Service with the USCIS service center processing their petition.

Further, at this time, premium processing for all H-1B visa petitions exempt from the cap remain available.

Two-Phase Approach

This update follows USCIS’ plans to follow a two-phase approach for premium processing, which we previously wrote about here.

Prepaid Mailer Temporary Suspension

Additionally, USCIS will not use prepaid mailers to out final notices regarding premium processing for FY 2020 visa petitions not requesting a change of status. The organization will instead use regular mail starting June 20 through the end of June 24.
