State Department Issues September Visa Bulletin

Overview        

The State Department has released the September 2024 Visa Bulletin.  USCIS will use the Final Action Dates chart for employment-based categories.  The updates below reflect changes in employment-based categories compared to last month.          

 

What are the Changes?        

In September 2024, there is primarily retrogression in most EB-3 employment-based categories compared to the August 2024 Visa Bulletin. As with August, September will use the Final Action Dates chart.   

 

EB-1           

There are no changes from August 2024.  

 

EB-2       

There are no changes from August 2024.   

 

EB-3             

India and China will stay the same as in the August 2024 Visa Bulletin.  

All other countries will retrogress by almost one year to Dec. 1, 2020.
