The government of Sri Lanka intends to increase the number of employment permits issued to Korean nationals with the expectation that South Korea will increase its employment quotas for Sri Lankan nationals.  

What are the Changes?  

The government of Sri Lanka will expand the number of work visas issued to Korean nationals. According to the government announcement, this measure aims to increase the opportunities for Sri Lankan nationals and Korean nationals to work in various sectors such as industry and other specialized sectors. Further information on the quota expansion is expected to be published in the coming weeks.
