Spain Entrepreneur Act and Visa Document Requirements

Spain will now require applicants under the Entrepreneurs Act to apostille or legalize their higher education certifications. Those applying through the professional experience pathway must also provide social security or labor agency documents from their home country. 

The Big Company Unit, which handles HQP and ICT permit applications, has also introduced stricter document requirements. Applicants without a university degree must now provide detailed experience letters tied to the Spanish job description. Legalized or apostilled university diplomas (or notarized copies) have also been requested recently. 

These changes may increase transfer timelines as legalization processes vary by country.
