Overview
The government of Singapore will require employers in the Construction, Marine Shipyard and Process (CMP) sectors to provide proof of accommodation before they are allowed to obtain new non-Malaysian Work Permit Holders (WPHs) in Singapore beginning 19 September 2023. Proof of accommodation can include one of the following:
- A form of tenancy or rental agreement; or
- Contracts of the accommodation provider(s).
