The government of Saudi Arabia introduced a new educational visa program to attract foreign students and academics. The educational visa will be issued through the “Study in Saudi Arabia” platform for international students who wish to pursue their studies in Saudi universities. According to the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the program will boost the number of foreign nationals obtaining higher education degrees within the country.
