Salary Requirements in Romania
Starting January 1, 2025, Romania will increase its minimum gross salary to 4050 RON, up from the previous requirement of 3700 RON. The following rates will apply for foreign national workers:
- Local Hire Work and Residence Permit: RON 4.050 gross per month
- EU Intracompany Transferee (ICT) Permit applicants and EU ICT Work Permit for Short-Term & Long-Term Mobility, Standard Seconded Workers: RON 4,050 gross per month
- Additional salary amounts required for sponsored dependents, applicable across all permit types of RON 4,050 gross per month per accompanying dependent
- EU Blue Cards RON 7,567 gross per month
