Qatar: Family Residence Permit Dependent Requirements

Key Points

  • Qatar introduced new renewal requirements for dependents under a family residence permit

The government of Qatar introduced new dependent family residence permit requirements for dependent children aged six to 18 who are not currently enrolled in a Qatar-based school. As a result, primary applicants must register information regarding the dependent’s education status with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. This new measure will be required for all applicants intending to renew a dependent family residence permit.
