[Updated]: Peru Extension of Procedures for the Temporary Permanence Permit Card

7 July 2022 Update: The government of Peru will extend the validity of the Temporary Permanent Permit Card (CPP) by a period of two calendar years. The CPP is granted to foreign nationals with irregular or unusual immigration status in Peru. The change will apply to foreign nationals who entered Peru prior to 22 Oct. 2020

4 April 2022 Update: The government of Peru announced that it would extend the deadline for foreign nationals with irregular or unusual immigration status to apply for a Temporary Permanence Permit Card by an additional 90 days. The change allows foreign nationals who entered Peru with irregular or unusual status before 22 Oct. 2020 additional time to regularize their migratory status in Peru.

Overview  

On 6 Jan. 2022, the government of Peru extended the deadline for foreign nationals with irregular or unusual immigration status to submit an application for a Temporary Permanence Permit Card. The deadline will be extended for a period of 90 calendar days from 6 Jan. 2022. This will allow foreign nationals who entered Peru with irregular or unusual status before 22 Oct. 2020 additional time to regularize their migratory situation in Peru.
