The government of Panama will allow all foreign nationals, regardless of nationality, who have been located inside the country under irregular status for at least one year to apply for a Temporary Protection Permit upon entrance beginning 1 August 2023.
The permit’s validity is set to two years and cannot be extended. The permit is not allowed for dependents. Applications can be submitted through the government’s online immigration platform.
