26 April 2023 Update: The government of New Zealand added new occupations in the transportation sector to the Green List on 26 April 2023. The Green List includes roles and occupations that are in demand in New Zealand.

Overview
The government of New Zealand added 32 additional roles to its occupation Green List on 11 April 2023. The roles span across the health system and are considered critical to the delivery of health services in New Zealand. Eligible applicants are encouraged to apply beginning 29 May 2023. The government also moved eight health-related roles from the Green List Work to Residence pathway to the Straight to Residence pathway.
