Key Points

  • Namibia will introduce visa requirements for countries with non-reciprocal visa agreements beginning in 2025

Overview

Beginning 1 April 2025, Namibia’s government will introduce visa requirements for countries that do not maintain a visa waiver policy for their citizens. These countries will include Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the UK and the US. These travelers will be required to apply for a visa on arrival.

In addition, the government will also increase visa fees for travelers arriving from non-African Union (UA) member states.
