Overview
The government of Italy approved its subordinate and seasonal worker immigration quotas for the next three years on 27 September 2023. As a result, the government approved a total admittance of 450,000 foreign national workers beginning from 2023 until 2025. Some quotas will remain reserved for certain nationalities. The quota each year will be divided as follows:
- 136,000 foreign nationals for 2023;
- 151,000 foreign nationals for 2024;
- 165,000 foreign nationals for 2025.
What are the Changes?
The government of Italy introduced a new quota list for foreign nationals in specific roles. Over the next two years, the government will admit over 450,000 foreign national employees.
