Overview

The government of Israel introduced a new temporary policy that will allow industrial companies to hire unskilled workers from previously unauthorized countries. These measures aim to reduce labor shortages in the country. Several of these countries include India and Sri Lanka.

Foreign nationals applying under these temporary measures must be hired and enter Israel by 25 March 2024. Employers must ensure that all required documents and fees have been made before the foreign national employee arrives.
