The government of Israel and the United States (U.S.) signed a reciprocity agreement, which aims to grant Israel acceptance into the U.S. Visa Waiver Program (VWP). The government published the reciprocity outline on 20 July 2023, which is one of the key features of the VWP.
The reciprocity outline will allow any American citizen to enter Israel, and subsequently when Israel is accepted into the program, will allow Israeli citizens to enter the USA without a visa. This reciprocity outline will apply to all American citizens, including those with dual citizenship and those who are residents of Judea and Samaria and the Gaza Strip.
