Ireland: Transfer of Immigration Processing to Dublin

  • Ireland will transfer processing functions in Cork and Limerick to its Dublin office for immigration  

Overview  

The government of Ireland introduced changes to the submission process of immigration permissions for non-EU/EEA/Swiss nationals residing in Cork and Limerick beginning 8 July 2024. These changes include the following:  

  • First-time registrations for individuals residing in these counties will be registered at the Burgh Quay Registration Office in Dublin; 
  • Applications for renewal of permission can be submitted using the Immigration Service Delivery (ISD) online renewal portal
