The government of Ireland warned visa applicants of potential processing delays at its Embassy office in India due to construction at the office. Construction is expected to take place at the office throughout the month of May 2023. Applicants are advised to continue to check for processing delays here.
The government also noted that VFS Global, a worldwide visa processing service provider, is currently experiencing high demand for appointments and visa application volumes. As such, the government advised travelers to apply six to eight weeks in advance of any travel to Ireland.
