Overview
The government of India announced that Chinese nationals can now apply for an electronic business visa. This visa allows entry for work and business activities with certain Indian departments and ministries.
This e-visa category is available for sectors such as Chemicals and Fertilizers, Commerce and Industry, Telecom, Food Processing, Heavy Industries, New and Renewable Energy, Steel and Textiles. It permits multiple entries for up to six months and offers faster processing compared to the regular business visa. This is the only e-visa option currently available to Chinese nationals, as other e-visa categories remain suspended.
