Ghana has extended the permitted stay duration for Malawian nationals visiting for business or tourism on all passports to 90 days, up from 60 days, per visit within a calendar year. This adjustment aligns with Malawi’s recent visa waiver program, which includes Ghanaian nationals among the 47 eligible nationalities. The change is anticipated to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
