France: Visa Service Office Closures in Africa

Overview  

The government of France temporarily closed visa application centers (VACs) in Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger on 29 September 2023. As a result, the French government will not process any visa applications, including student, artist and research visa categories. The government of Mali responded by suspending operations of its visa centers located throughout France. For additional information and government support for French nationals aboard, check here
