Key Points
- France introduced online visa submission options for foreign nationals from countries outside of the European Union, European Economic Area and Switzerland
Overview
The government of France expanded access to its online visa application portal to additional foreign nationals. As a result, foreign nationals from countries located outside of the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, along with spouses and parents of French nationals, will be permitted to submit certain visa applications online. These application types include:
- Temporary one-year cards and multi-annual cards; and
- Resident cards and permits
What are the Changes?
France’s government broadened its online visa application portal to include more foreign nationals, including those from non-EU/EEA/Switzerland countries and spouses or parents of French nationals, for certain visa types. This includes temporary one-year cards, multi-annual cards, resident cards and permits.
