On 17 July 2023, the government of Estonia introduced new requirements for filing posted worker notifications. As a result, employers will be required to file posted worker notifications through Estonia’s Labour Inspectorate’s online information portal. Employers must complete this step prior to the employee commencing work in Estonia. For additional information on submitting posted worker notifications, check here.
What are the Changes?
The government of Estonia introduced a new portal for employers to submit posted worker notifications for their foreign national employees.
Previously, employees posted to Estonia had to register by filling in a registration form found on the website of the Labour Inspectorate and forwarding it to the Labour Inspectorate by email. According to the government announcement, the new process is simpler and more user-friendly.
