Ecuador: Suspension of Visa Waivers with China

Overview  

On 18 June 2024, the government of Ecuador announced the suspension of its visa waiver agreement with China. The suspension will go into effect on 1 July 2024. According to the government, this decision was a result of many nationals of China not departing after the maximum period of stay had passed.
