The Costa Rican government increased the maximum period of stay for business and tourism purposes for passport holders of “Group One” visa-exempt countries. As a result, Group One passport holders will be permitted to enter and remain in Costa Rica for a maximum period of 180 days.
Group One holders include nationals of the US, Canada, Mexico and more.
What are the Changes?
The government of Costa Rica extended the maximum period of stay for Group One passport holders to 180 days. Previously, the maximum period of stay for this group was 90 days.
