China added several countries to its visa-free entry list. The list of eligible countries includes Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Spain, Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia, Poland, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia, Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, South Korea, Brunei, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Malta, Estonia, Latvia and Japan.
As a result, nationals of these countries can now enter China for up to 30 days without needing a visa. Additionally, this status will permit travel for business purposes, personal affairs and tourism.
