The government of Canada will continue to process study, work and visa permit extensions submitted by Moroccan nationals free of charge. These measures will be effective from 19 October 2023 to 12 March 2024.
What are the Changes?
The government of Canada will extend permissions that allow Moroccan nationals to apply for study, work and visit visa permits free of charge. According to the announcement, these measures will make it easier for Moroccan nationals to extend their temporary status in Canada or move between temporary streams.
The government initially introduced these measures on 8 September 2023 for Moroccan nationals affected by the devastating earthquake.
