Key Points
- Canada opened new visa application centers in three locations throughout Mexico
Overview
The government of Canada opened three new visa application centres (VACs) in Mexico: in Mexico City, Monterrey and Gaudalajara.
The new VACs will initially provide biometric collection services only and then will work to expand the range of services to include transmitting and tracking passports or other documents. In the meantime, applicants can continue to access the full range of services at the existing VAC in Mexico City.
As soon as applicants receive their biometric instruction letter, they can make appointments to take their biometrics at any of the four VAC locations.
