Brazil: eVisas for Nationals of Canada, Australia and the US

  • Effective 10 January 2024, eVisas will be made mandatory for US, Australian and Canadian passport holders entering Brazil

Overview  

Beginning 10 January 2024, the government of Brazil will remove visa exemptions from nationals of Australia, Canada and the U.S. As a result, nationals of these countries will be required to apply for an e-visa when traveling to the country for tourism, business and other purposes

What are the Changes?  

Beginning 10 January 2024, eVisas will be mandatory for US, Australian and Canadian passport holders visiting Brazil. For additional information on the application process, check here
