Bermuda Immigration Changes 2025

  • Bermuda updated its immigration rules on 8 January 2025, including its entry rules and visa-exempt travelers list  

Immigration Rules Bermuda   

Bermuda introduced new immigration rules on 8 January 2025. These rules include the following changes:  

New Entry Rules: 

Bermuda prohibits nationals of listed countries from entering unless they have:

  • Valid travel authorization to enter and re-enter Canada, the United Kingdom, or the U.S., effective for forty-five days from their intended departure from Bermuda. 
  • A government-issued letter confirming they are the spouse of a Bermudian or belong to Bermuda according to section 11(5) of the Bermuda Constitution Order 1968. 

Changes to Visa Requirements: 

  • Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are no longer on the list of countries requiring entry visas. 
  • There are now exceptions in the People’s Republic of China, Indonesia, South Africa, Taiwan, Turkey and Vietnam. 
  • Colombia has been added to the list.
