Preparing for the H-1B Lottery: Applications to RFEs
To download a copy of the slides, please click here.
The H-1B is one of the most highly sought-after visas, as well as one of the more complicated to file. For the last five years, cap-subject petitions were chosen for review via a lottery after the amount of H-1B visa applications filed far exceeded the limit of 85,000 – and each of those years the cap was reached in just five business days.
With that in mind, it’s important to ensure you’re fully prepared before USCIS opens the cap or risk potentially jeopardizing the future of the foreign national(s) you hope to sponsor.
Join Envoy as we present H-1B best practices for collecting documents and filing LCAs, as well as dealing with Requests For Evidence (RFEs), should any petitions you submit be accepted into the lottery.
You’ll receive:
- Tips to help you kick start your cap-subject H-1B visa petition preparation
- Background into the current administration’s increased scrutiny of the H-1B visa
- Insight surrounding what to expect in case of an RFE
- …and more
Please note: this webinar is well-suited for all HR practitioners who have a basic understanding of the immigration process but would like to learn more information. To access more advanced webinars, please visit our resource center or stay tuned for more updates.
