Riding the Shifting Tides of Immigration in 2018

January 25, 2018

Change seems to be the only constant in immigration lately. Although last year's regulatory changes may not be fully implemented, that is not deterring the Department of Homeland Security from issuing notice of its intent to implement even more restrictions.

The Trump administration is adamant about reform, but it’s not always easy to differentiate between what’s a rumor, what’s being proposed and the timeline of what’s actually being implemented. Consider 2018 a year of contingency planning. Now is the time to get informed, get strategic and get started.

Join Envoy as we present a comprehensive roundup of the latest immigration news and policy updates relevant to your organization and the foreign nationals it employs.

You’ll receive:

  • A look at proposed regulation changes to the H-1B and H-4 visa programs and whether such changes could impact this year’s H-1B visa lottery
  • An understanding of the employment authorization programs the Trump administration terminated, failed to renew or has proposed to terminate – and what actions you should be taking now
  • Information on changes impacting travel such as new Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) requirements for foreign nationals entering the U.S. under the Visa Waiver Program and adjustments to identification documents under the REAL ID Act
  • …and more

Please note: this webinar is well-suited for HR practitioners with a good understanding of immigration processes and who would like to help craft or improve an internal immigration policy and/or program. If you’re looking for more basic information on immigration, please visit our resource center or stay tuned for more updates.
