USCIS Resumes Premium Processing for All H-1B Visa Petitions

Last Updated on February 23, 2023

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that it will resume premium processing for all H-1B visa petitions, effective March 12, 2019.

What Do I Need to Know?

With this latest announcement, USCIS has now resumed premium processing for all H-1B visa petitions. USCIS previously resumed premium processing for select petitions.

USCIS also states request for evidence (RFE) responses should be included with a premium processing request if a RFE was received for a pending petition.

Premium processing is an optional service that allows petitioners to request 15-day processing of certain employment-based immigration benefit requests if they pay a fee of $1,410.

How Should I Proceed?

Please contact your immigration counsel to discuss whether interfiling premium processing is the right decision for your pending cases.
