Republic of Korea Expands K-ETA Exemptions

  • South Korea extended visa exemptions for its Electronic Travel Authorization system for select foreign nationals  

Extension of K-ETA Exemptions  

South Korea extended exemptions from the Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) system for tourists from 22 countries. This extension will remain in place until 31 December 2025. These countries and jurisdictions include:  

  • Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Macao, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the U.S. 

Tourists from these countries should ensure they have completed an arrival card application.
