Application Processing and Refunds Delayed Due to High Volume
Ireland published its current processing dates for employment permits based on the order of receipt of the fully completed application form and fee.
Due to a high number of refund requests, it is currently taking 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a completed mandate to process a refund.
As of 10 February 2025, the following processing dates apply:
Critical Skills Employment Permit Applications:
- Standard: 24 January 2025
- Trusted Partner: 6 February 2025
New Applications (excluding Critical Skills):
- Standard: 15 January 2025
- Trusted Partner: 31 January 2025
Intra-Company Transfer Employment Permit Applications:
- Standard: 16 January 2025
- Trusted Partner: 31 January 2025
Renewal Applications:
- Standard: 11 December 2024
- Trusted Partner: 28 January 2025
