Canada’s New Home Worker Visa Programs
Canada will launch new Home Worker Immigration Pilot programs beginning 31 March 2025. The new programs will replace any previous caregiver immigration pathways and will provide select foreign nationals with direct routes to permanent residency (PR). Qualified applicants must meet specific requirements including:
- Hold a minimum CLB 4 level in English or Spanish
- Hold a credential that is equivalent to a Canadian high school diploma
- Hold recent and relevant experience working in a home care occupation
- Hold a full-time employment offer from a Canadian employer in the home care sector
