China: Updated Salary Requirements for Select Cities

  • The city government in Shenzhen will increase the monthly minimum salary requirement for Category A and B work permit holders effective 1 July 2022  

Overview  

The government of China will increase the monthly salary requirements for Category A and Category B work permit holders in Shenzhen beginning 1 July 2022. The new salary requirements for Shenzhen are as follows: 

  • Category A work permit: RMB 76735.5 
  • Category B work permit: RMB 51157 

What are the Changes?  

Salary requirements for Category A and Category B work permit holders will increase for individuals in the city of Shenzhen beginning 1 July 2022.
