Office employees were required to work from home, immigration and global mobility initiatives at many organizations were temporarily halted and governments issued various immigration and travel restrictions. On the other hand, immigrants represent a sizable share of healthcare and other frontline workers currently battling the Covid-19 pandemic and working towards a vaccine.
