Supreme Court Discusses Travel Ban

April 25, 2018 Chelsea Iversen

On Wednesday, April 25, the justices of the Supreme Court are questioning how legitimate the President’s restrictions on immigration are. They’re also deliberating on the legality of the travel ban policy issued by Trump in 2017, especially with regards to his previous comments on immigration.

Some court justices are leaning towards allowing more powers to the President, while others are more wary of the legality of the travel ban. The Court is expected to rule on the issue at the end of June.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting with live on the Supreme Court’s discussions today.
