May 2021 Visa Bulletin Issued by State Department

NOTE:U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has not yet announced if it will use the Dates for Filing or Final Action Dates chart for the May Visa Bulletin. Please check the USCIS website for the latest updates. 

Overview 

The State Department has released the May 2021 Visa Bulletin, which brings advancement in multiple employment-based categories. 

What are the Changes? 

In May 2021, the Final Action Dates chart includes the following key movements: 

EB-1 

China and India EB-1 will remain current in May.  

EB-2 

For EB-2, China will advance approximately three months to December 1, 2016. India EB-2 will progress three months to August 1, 2010. All other countries in EB-2 remain current and unchanged. 

EB-3 

EB-3 will bring a two-month advancement for China to May 15, 2018. India will advance five months to February 1, 2011. All other countries in EB-3 remain current and unchanged.
